XCreds Password Prompting on macOS 26.1 Beta
Note: This issue was resolved with the release of XCreds 5.6 on 2025-10-01.
We have identified an issue observed on macOS 26.1 beta in which XCreds users are required to enter their password again after logging in. We believe we have confirmed the cause of this issue and are testing a new build of XCreds that should eliminate the behavior.
We are currently testing version 5.6 (build 8963 or later) which is available on the XCreds Prebeta page. Please test this build (or later builds) to verify compatibility with XCreds 5 and macOS Tahoe 26.1.
