Unlock Platform SSO for Google Identity with Xpsso

Google Identity does not support Platform SSO on macOS. Xpsso enables Platform SSO to work with Google Identity today.

See Google Identity with Xpsso In Action

Xpsso makes a user’s onboarding experience simple with Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) and Platform SSO integrated with Google Identity.

How Xpsso Works

Platform SSO enables authentication to an Identity Provider using cloud binding. This establishes a trust between the Identity Provider and your Mac system so when a user authenticates, they are signing in from a trusted, known Mac system to a trusted Identity Provider. Xpsso adds device trust and allows Platform SSO to work with Google Identity. These features include:

  • User Account Provisioning from Identity Provider during Automated Device Enrollment
  • Just In Time account setup for new users on first login
  • Users will have a single password for signing into their Mac and the identity provider

Open Source

Xpsso is open source and under a BSD-style license. We believe in being transparent with security software and encourage others to contribute to the project. We will sell notarized, signed binaries and software support to fund the continued development of the project.
