With the release of Winclone 6.1.4, Winclone is fully compatible with High Sierra, the latest operating system for the Mac. We added in a bunch of great features:
• Better SIP compatibility. When you restore a Windows 8 or later Winclone image on a recent Mac (generally 2013 or later), you no longer need to disable SIP.
• APFS support. Package install of Winclone images now fully supports creating a Boot Camp partition on disks that are APFS formatted.
• Faster Package Creation: With the new “write on copy” feature of APFS, creating a Winclone package is instantaneous if the image and package are on the same APFS filesystem.
If you are current Winclone 6 customer, the update is free! Just update right in the app by selecting “Check For Updates” in the Winclone menu. If you are a Winclone 5 or earlier customer, upgrade now!
