If you are seeing this page after using XCreds to sign in to your Mac, there has been an error and XCreds cannot complete authentication. Alert an administrator and use the local sign-in screen if available on your Mac.
Setup
The URL for this page can be used when setting up XCreds as a value for redirectURI
. It is important that both XCreds and the identity provider records have both been configured to specify the same value for redirectURI
. See the XCreds Admin Guide for more information on this configuration.
Any page can be used for redirectURI
, but XCreds authentication will not succeed if its setting for redirectURI
is not the same as what was configured in the associated identity provider record.
Make redirectURI a Public Page Address
It is recommended that the redirectURI
be set as a publicly available page. If redirectURI is set as an internal address such as https://127.0.0.1/
it has been found that the user may be asked to approve access to the identity provider account every time when signing in. This can be avoided by changing the configuration for both XCreds and the identity provider to specify that redirectURI
should be a public page such as https://twocanoes.com/xcreds-redirect
. More information on this is available on the XCreds Admin Guide and the setup instructions for each identity provider.
