Make Self-Extracting

A Winclone image can automatically restore itself onto a partition. Package-based deployments are preferred to this method, but self-extracting may be required by some client management suites.

  1. Select a source image. A standard macOS open dialog will appear to select a saved Winclone image.
  2. When Make Self-Extracting is selected, a command line utility and other utilities and resources are copied to the image. See the Winclone 7 User Guide for more information.
