PIN Prompting when Screen Sharing on macOS 13 Ventura

In macOS 13 Ventura, when using a smart card and accessing a remote mac system, you will no longer be prompted for a PIN by default. You will only be prompted for a password. To re-enabling PIN prompting in Ventura while screen sharing, run the following command in terminal (replacing “user” with your user name):

defaults write /Users/user/Library/Preferences/com.apple.security.authorization.plist ignoreArd -bool TRUE
