Smart Card Utility enables smart card authentication to supported websites via Safari. No changes in the backend, websites, or cards: just plug in your existing PIV-enabled smart card and log in!

The update to 3.2 brings the follow new changes for version 3.2 (5240):

Notifications

Improved notifications (card / reader insertion, clearer notifications)

  • Ability to turn off notifications in settings
  • Ability to turn on debug logging to notifcations
  • Fixed issue with some G&D SC 3.2 cards not working

Smart Card Support

  • Fixed issue with some G&D SC 7.0 cards not working

Other

Fixed issue where removing and inserting reader cause authentication to stop working
