The instructions below will show you how to use the Smart Card Utility for macOS Reader Debug feature and send the output to Twocanoes.

  1. Follow the TestFlight instructions to install Smart Card Utility for macOS Version 4.4 (6347) or later
  2. Open Smart Card Utility for macOS and Select Tools->Reader Debug

3. Insert your card, turn on the reader, select the reader and connect:

4. The last line after connecting should say “presentAndActive”:

5. Click the dropdown menu and select Select PIV Applet:

6. Click Send APDU. 

7. Click the dropdown menu and select Read Slot 9a: 

8. Click Send APDU.

9. Copy the output and send it to support@twocanoes.com.
