Using a Wired Connection for a Twocanoes Bluetooth Reader and an iPad.

In addition to its wireless capabilities, Twocanoes’ Bluetooth reader can be used by plugging it directly into an iPad for use in environments where a wired connection is required.

There are some important notes for this configuration.

• The iPad must have a USB-C port.
• The iPad must also be running iOS 16.2 or later.
• The USB-C cable used to connect the Bluetooth reader and iPad must have data transfer capability.

The wired connection method will prevent users from inserting a specific certificate in Smart Card Utility. Rather, all certificates will be loaded. All other features are still accessible.
