Wireless Mobile Reader Light Indicators

Smart Card Utility Wireless Mobile Readers use LEDs to determine what is happening with your reader. Each LED light indicates a different status for the reader.

Blue LED

  • Blue light indicates the reader is on and the status of the connection.
  • Blue Flashing Light: The Reader is on and awaiting connection.
  • Blue Solid Light: The Reader is on and connected to the Smart Card Utility App or Website.

Green LED

  • Green Solid Light: CAC is inserted

Yellow LED

  • Flashing Yellow Light: indicates when the reader and website are communicating

Red LED

  • Red Flashing Light: Reader battery is low and needs to be charged.
  • Red Solid Light: The reader is charging while in use.
