Manual MDM Enrollment with MDS

MDS uses an MDM service to allow Mac clients to be easily set up by enrolling in the MDM service. Upon enrollment, resources such as software packages, scripts, and profiles are automatically installed. Installation of a client management binary such as Munki can be installed for further configuration and installation and configuration of a self-service portal.
