Verify Status

Unsure if your smart card is locked or how many PIN attempts remain? Smart Card Utility makes it easy. The number of PIN attempts for a smart card is shown next to its name. If the smart card is locked, it will appear red: you’ll instantly know that authentication with the smart card is not possible until it is unlocked.

View Certificates

Simply insert your smart card into a compatible reader. You’ll quickly be able to view the X.509 certificates in the main slots of the PIV Smart Card. You can view all the certificate attributes with ease and even export them for use on external systems.

Change PIN

Easily change your smart card’s PIN using Smart Card Utility. Smart Card Utility also shows the number of PIN attempts remaining and if the smart card is locked.
